Raid Report 4-26-15
As I write this month’s raid report, Hawkeye Gin and I are on I-95 heading to the South Carolina State Match. I guess we just can’t get enough!
At our April match we had 35 shooters—17 of them competing in the Iron Cowboy category—who braved the humidity and rain. Between the Cowford Annual in Jacksonville and our match, the iron cowboys and cowgirls shot 14 stages in two days.
We had a brief storm interlude, but the rain passed and we were able to finish the match. We had folks from South Carolina, Georgia, and Florida. All in all it was a fun weekend.
Congratulations to Stan and Gin for top overall. Also, shoutout to Wabash, who wowed us with his gravity-defying direction changing.
Thanks again to all who helped set up and tear down. It’s hard to believe it’s been a whole year of Raiders matches! We appreciate the support from all the cowboys and cowgirls and we hope to see you next month on May 24th.
See you on the trail,
