October 2014 – Raid Report

Raid Report 10-26-14

It wasn’t hot! This was the first pleasant day for a Raiders match since we began. We had a pretty cool match with the stage sequence progression from single-taps to the newly coined “penta-tap” and “sex-tap.”
Congratulations to Santa Fe River Stan aka Eagle Rare for an impressive win. Congrats to Tornado Timmy for his first clean match!
Thanks to the following Raiders:
Tin Star John for providing the portable walls to minimize lead splatter.
Major Mishap for helping with setup and keeping us all straight.
Wabash Valley Slim for saving the brass from the grass with his modern day weed sling.
Hawkeye Gin and Sage Siren for the homemade pumpkin bars. They were really good.
And even though I mention it every month, I am still astounded with the caliber of people who shoot with us. The teamwork displayed during the tear down of the match is just wonderful.
See you on the trail,
Delta Glen

October Raiders Match

Calling all Raiders! Our October match is this Sunday the 26th and it’s going to be SCARY! Well, it is near Halloween. And what could be creepier than a progressive match? What is a progressive match? Come on out to the Gainesville Target Range and you’ll find out…
We’re hoping for less heat and mud this month. Fried chicken and sides for lunch. We have Raiders “spoils” for sale: shot glasses and koozies. Of course, we welcome any spectators who want to come watch and give Cowboy Action Shooting a try. Please contact us if you have questions.
Hope to see you Sunday!
